The gentle Roman
Hello here I am again. Today I will report on the men's fragrance from Rome.
*Brioni*
What does not come to me everything to the eternal city.
Was already up to 5 times there and it fascinates me again and again.
Yes exactly said I love this city and the people there.

ROME
The city on the Tiber was founded on April 21, 753 BC by Romulus. You know already,
Romulus the buzzkill where his twin brother Remus cold had made(killed), only because he had made himself about the city wall built by Romulus Lustig.
Ok...ok...that is already a reason someone the Gar ausmachen. Hello? Why funny?
He could just fun and serious not distinguish. There should still be today...
Such people.... just by the way...is me noticed..... Had to be!!!

BRIONI
Shortly after the assassination of Romulus in 1945, Brioni was founded. The men's outfitter of the upper league.
Measure suits from 5000-40,000 euros...
But we know, have enough of it in the closet. Just by the way, there are now underpants, you get for a ridiculous spot price of 400 euros.
Well let's see, maybe I strike there strongly. Although, they also have only 3 holes.

The fragrance

NOW it comes... The hammer!
The perfume you get already from 70 euros.
Yes you read correctly. Not 7000 euros but 70 euros. That for 70ml.
And I can tell you, an Elegantes Wässerchen of the finest.
The fragrance DNA is similar to that of Dior Fahrenheit. But not so intrusive and powerful.
Brioni scores more with Restrained and stylish elegance.
This Ozonische notes with apple result in a fresh, abnormally peculiar fragrance.
The wood and tonka beans give it an oldschool vibe that is simply fabulous.
Even if parallels to Fahrenheit are given, it is nevertheless a completely independent fragrance.

It was with me not love at first spray, as with Oud Burmi, but he crept quietly and secretly in my heart.

Now I have bought it for myself. And am proud
Brioni owner.

CONCLUSION
Who is looking for a somewhat more restrained fragrance,
The elegant, stylish and yes, almost always wearable, should test this one.

I am glad that he was with me as a fragrance mail in the mailbox. Otherwise, I would probably never have met the.

My thanks go to the dear Mrs. Cherry,
She had the fragrance as an original sample and thought that could be what for the Bastian.

I'll tell you what dear cherry, you were completely right. Thank you for it.

Your Basti.

PS: Just do not think, damn is the intelligent. The whole steam about Rome can be read on Google. Yes um... read I can.

People who are always thinking about what others think of them would be very surprised to know how little others think about them. Bertrand Russel
With Brioni it is such a thing, there is a blog of a guy who wears a not really fitting suit of Brioni and tells and explains how cool is such a thing. The whole video makes you think why what is possible, such a bad fit and such an overconfidence of this guy. Brioni is not fast fashion and you can't wonder why these suits are so expensive. The pieces are all hand made and even the button holes on the cuffs can be opened. This does not exist even in a Pal Zileri suit, maybe I missed something.
Exactly the same with this fragrance, it's not a sillage monster, it's not pungent, it's not hey there I am. Distinguished is possibly a description that fits. This Brioni is quite distinguished and has class. You will find this in vain in many mainstreamers, what is absolutely positive and pleasant in the foreground here is missing in most of this class. A Immergeher which reminds me of the Bally fragrance from the eighties. The sillage is not too strong yet always perceptible, in the manner of a majeure dissey which is also permanently here, but never tends to overload.
The longevity is amazingly good, here Lalique has pulled out all the stops, you can see the signature of Michel Almairac which has shown all his skill. No fragrance of Puig or Loreal currently has this understatement and still makes such a good mood.
If you are looking for a daily companion, which generates style, class and also still good feedback makes you with this Brioni everything right. If one looks for however a space filler, then an Eros, Le Male Parfum or AMen is the better choice. As a signature or signature also suitable, here is the Baldessarini from the nineties also very present, which has a similar finish. The comparison with Cool Water is not recognizable, the comparison with Fahrenheit only conditionally, because it becomes relatively quickly woody and warm.
A recommendation and a bow to Lalique.

Big name, big scent?
Anyone who is even remotely involved in fashion will sooner or later stumble across the name Brioni. The menswear label founded in Rome already has an almost legendary reputation when it comes to first-class suits and accessories, both in terms of the materials used and in terms of workmanship. I'm happy to confirm that everything is top notch, but even a belt for 800 euros remains "just" a belt at the end of the day. And even a suit for 5,000 euros will break down at some point, perhaps even a little sooner than its counterpart for 1,000 euros because of the finest yarns used. So whether you want to afford such luxury (and can!!!), be completely value neutral.

And now so a new Eau de Parfum, which is to differentiate each suit wearer still a piece further from its kind comrades. Advertised as THE business fragrance par excellence, which makes one even more successful? Advertising slogans or brand name, in any case, my expectations rise immeasurably and as I hold the bottle in my hand and put my finger on the spray button, I am extremely excited about the bottle spirit, which is to unfold immediately.

Two sprays should be fully sufficient for an eau de parfum. As I bring my wrist up, my nose bounces back in horror. An ambroxan bomb has exploded, trying to cauterize my nasal mucosa. I was expecting a lot, but find this prelude simply sickening. I can't believe it, venture a cautious second attempt, unfortunately with the same result. An immediate wash-off reflex takes hold of me, but I bravely resist it, surely it can't be that a brand like Brioni puts together such a gross blunder?!? Perhaps the price of 80 euros, although anything but cheap, was a bad omen, because according to all other products of this house I would not have flinched even at 200 euros, would it be worth the goods.

After all, the sillage is tremendous, even after three hours I am immediately (although not directly) addressed. "Oha, what smells here, someone has fogged himself..." - "what smells here actually?"

Meanwhile, I'm glad I gave the fragrance a chance to evolve, especially since the ambroxan has reduced to a tolerable and acceptable level. Overall, I hear a journey in the direction of a cool freshness and an elegant woody accessory, which gradually makes the fragrance seem quite exclusive, because I know no second in this constellation. With the passage of the hours Brioni develops further, gets a somewhat arrogant and very special touch, which I like well, which definitely fits a suit wearer and which finally also corresponds to his business character.

I even go so far as to see it as the finer, more subtle and more pleasing variant to Montblanc`s Explorer, also with this dominates the Ambroxan, but much stronger and pushes this thus in a currently sought-after and fashionable corner. Brioni, on the other hand, will also meet the demands of a business generation, which has already achieved something in their lives and accordingly rewarded themselves with a suitable fragrance or would like to round off the outfit.

Nevertheless: The prelude does not go for me at all. Fortunately, one has yes the way to work, which makes it possible to let the fragrance "settel" not to slay others in the immediate vicinity. And honestly, if you had given me the bottle without writing in the hand, I would have come on Brioni? In life, no.

So if I draw a summary, then this: A fragrance that only begins to live up to its great name. Which develops over time, then quite to the good, but which does not fully fit the brand Brioni because of the very synthetic mix. Durability decent, brings one through the day; Sillage initially brutal, then still clearly perceptible, after about four hours decreasing, but then the office is already marked with a sufficient scent for the rest of the day. The bottle, in turn, fits Brioni: restrained, elegant, held in discreet smoke-blue, the sprayer with the magnetic closure visually and haptically excellent. Price performance okay.
On balance, I expected much more, but as an alternative to the general mainstream at least worth a test recommendation.

The star of this scent is violet, floral sweet, aquatic, ozonic. A sweet-tart apple, pepper and a woody/musky Ambroxan. Some smooth tonka.
