British perfume brand Gallivant unveils its new green-spicy unisex fragrance that promises an olfactory journey through Ghana's vibrant capital, Accra.

"Accra" opens with a sweet and exotic bouquet of passion berries, mango, papaya and davana, accompanied by eucalyptus, chili, cognac and carrot seeds. Intense coffee aroma, a cocoa accord and spicy saffron unfold in the heart. In addition, notes of tobacco and styrax provide a smoky and distinctive note. The base note exudes a sensual accord of leather, cedar, musk and patchouli, complemented by the essence of splendour card and a subtle note of vinyl.

The composition was created by Stéphanie Bakouche. Nick Seward, founder of Gallivant, describes his new fragrance as a tribute to his intimate connection with Africa, particularly West Africa. From a young age, he was fascinated by the captivating reportage of Ryszard Kapuściński, the novels of VS Naipaul and the playful writing of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie s vibrant colors, unique style, infectious joie de vivre and the warmth of West Africa left a lasting impression that he wanted to capture with "Accra".

So with this journey to Accra, I wanted to evoke a bygone glamour, the tropical sensuality, an enveloping heat … A taste of the exotic, the musicality, the gorgeous bursting colours of the famous kente waxed cloth. The new fragrance will be available from June 14, 2023 in bottle sizes of 30 ml and 100 ml.
