An unpleasant surprise

I received this perfume a month ago and unfortunately I have to admit that it did not meet my expectations. Personally, I didn't find the scent appealing, which is of course a very subjective perception. For me, the aroma was more reminiscent of burnt plastic with a hint of green, something that doesn't necessarily suit my taste. I therefore decided against keeping it or passing it on. I would advise prospective buyers to test the perfume before buying if possible, as my experience of blind buying shows that individual perceptions of fragrances can vary greatly, although it has also received many positive reviews.

I ordered this fragrance blind because I was looking for a good green scent. It's difficult to say whether it's good or bad.
What I can definitely say about this fragrance is that it has no system. It is a constantly changing scent between fig, green and vanilla. Very interesting in that sense, but I couldn't detect different top notes, heart notes or base note phases and if I did, all phases would iterate between these three scents.
I perceive the three scents too isolated for my taste, it felt like I was wearing three different scents on my neck and which one to smell now depended on chance.
The smell of fig leaf was "too green" for my taste. I think a good green scent needs another fragrance to elevate it and give it the right twist. But it was too overpowering for my taste.
It was a relief to be able to smell the vanilla or fig in this fragrance roulette.

The most juicy and green fig perfume, at the same time!

Alluring Fig is probably the most realistic, green, unripe, milky fig I've ever smelled! The fig that, when I was a kid, I was not allowed to cut because it was unsuitable for eating, and the milk would drip from its stem, bothering my skin. This is the first smell for me, the ultimate green, unripe fig with that bitterness that numbs the lips and tongue. And then turns into the spoon-sweet my grandmom used to make — homemade sweet fig that, when I was eating it, the voluptuous bitterness numbed my mouth, and the sugar of the syrup with its sweetness soothed it. A fragrance that took me straight back to my childhood. A trip in a bottle! It starts elsewhere, goes elsewhere, and ends elsewhere. Its bitterness starts from the tree — lively, cool, and green — but in its aromatic journey, it becomes a little sweeter like the fig in a spoon, to end up with unexpectedly powdery vanilla, like the lightly tied syrup in a saucer.

A very green fig with a touch of sweetness

This fragrance was just okay for me, only because I’m not big on green scents / accords.

While the scent itself wasn’t bad, the fig tree added too much greenery to the over all scent for me. Yes, it did get sweeter in the dry down from the fig and vanilla, but held it greenness throughout. It wasn’t wearable at all for me, so I ended up selling it.

It’s definitely a very unique scent and almost gives tropical vibes, but it’s just not my cup of tea. My favorite kind of fig-vanilla combo is Philosophy’s Sweet Vanilla and Fig. I will say the projection and longevity in this and other Theodore Kalotinis fragrances are wonderful, so that’s a plus if you enjoy this scent profile.
