I would have liked the progression here to be linear
Attraction Fatale was included in a sample exchange and at that time I had never heard of this fragrance before.
I was very curious about this fragrance and what to expect here in general because of the fragrance pyramid and the always nice conversation with a super EssenceVitae.

What can I say?
The fragrance has definitely managed to convince me.
I like it!
For me, it's a spicy-sweet fragrance with a great rum accord.
The Attraction Fatale thus gets this light boozy/tipsy touch, which I really like.

Especially at the beginning we have a really nice fragrance impression.
Immediately after spraying it on, it takes a few seconds to find itself and then it starts. A wonderfully soft rum accord comes around the corner and is visited by mandarin. I couldn't really recognize the mandarin at first, but then it came, albeit discreetly!
The rum is immediately recognizable. The rum even gives a slightly nutty impression. This nuttiness is reminiscent of hazelnuts, which immediately creates a pleasant gourmand vibe.

Admittedly, I can't recognize the listed rose at all.
Over time, it becomes increasingly spicy and "darker".
Some pepper, nutmeg and woods are added.
This delicious and, for me, ingenious nutty character is unfortunately lost bit by bit.
It remains nice, but becomes different.
For me, the rum lasts until the end, but simply has a different scent than at the beginning.

The fragrance is really well made and I absolutely cannot understand ratings in the range of 2 to 3 or even 0.5 and is not fair to the fragrance.

Controversial...? For ME rather clear...!
Hey, this will be my third review on EssenceVitae and I never thought that my third one would be about a curly scent...

I am writing this review because I want to be fair and, of course, to rate this fragrance.

The bottle is in a beautiful golden bed made of a "silk" cloth and the OVP is blue with golden lettering. I personally find the lightning bolt logo a bit tacky, but so be it... It's a matter of taste :)
The golden lid is not too loose and sits firmly. The image on the OVP is reproduced 1 to 1 on the bottle...
Before I sprayed it for the first time, I noticed a pleasant creamy, yoghurt-like mandarin with a hint of rose at the spray head. Not only that, I had the feeling of recognizing some parallels to other fragrances.
The fragrance itself smells very high-quality to me and when spraying on or wearing the fragrance, I initially notice the mandarin in combination with the rum, a subtle rose, a sweet vanilla and a creaminess from the musk. The mandarin disappears after an hour at the latest and the fragrance becomes a little darker as a result. I find the interplay of musk and mandarin very pleasant at the beginning and therefore unfortunately miss the mandarin later on.

Sometimes I think I can detect leather, but I think the rum is playing tricks on me here... To stay with rum for a moment here; I really haven't often smelled such a pleasant and authentic rum note.

I wouldn't wear the fragrance every day, as it already has a certain presence and the fragrance DNA is too intrusive for the office or similar in my opinion. I would therefore spray it on when I have plans in the evening (regardless of the time of year) :)

The longevity and sillage are not outstanding, but the fragrance definitely lasts for 8 hours and the sillage is moderate (for me a 7.5).

The perfume from Curly Scent should reflect the scent of your dream man and I think Chris Maurice has done a very good job here, regardless of the price. My taste has definitely been met here and I hope that the fragrance will get better with time...
Bear with me for my subjective opinion and maybe make up your own mind about this fragrance :D

Spicebomb with rum
Influencers & EssenceVitae often don't come off well. Sometimes unjustly. Here you get a good fragrance, but at far too high a price.

The fragrance certainly has parallels with a Spicebomb Extreme, which is hardly surprising as CurlyFragrance, the brand's founder, often praises this fragrance to the skies.

The fragrance starts off quite alcoholic with a fruity rum note that makes it a bit special. After the top note has found its way after about 30 minutes, the spices now come into play, the rose is gentle but perceptible, unfortunately then quite linear. On the whole, however, spicy - sweet.

Lasts well, the sillage is strong in the first few hours - but not the beast mode as advertised.

So for me it is a rather unspectacular boozy, spicy & warm fragrance for the cooler days of the year.

The fragrance is certainly well received by the general public & will also bring a compliment for some.

Holy crap...
This is not for the faint of heart, it's strong, manly, boozy it's deliciously strong fragrance and will not quit so do not overspray, I would say curlyfragrance the one who designed this fragrance knew what she was doing it smells mass appealing and niche at the same time.

It's not for everyone but I will say it does smell like how much it cost in my opinion so money well spent for me, if I had to say how it smells to me, amber, woods, slightly spicy, with a lot of booze lol
