Three words: spicy, sexy, summer
This fragrance has totally caught me off guard. Bella Hadid, aka Palestine’s Princess has dropped some heat before we kick off summer 2024 and she has not come to play around. Blooming Fire is just one of three new scents she’s come out with and by far, my favorite of the line.
The notes that stand out to me the most in BF are monoï, jasmine, clove, and patchouli. The others are present, but these stand out the most on my skin. The fragrance is not at all sweet, but has a nectar-like vibe to it that is reminiscent of floral nectar you’d obtain from tropical flowers. It’s very very sexy smelling, like you’re getting ready for a day at the beach in the smallest and tightest of bikinis, bronzed up, ready to catch some sun and waves, have a few drinks, and then go back to your place to get cheeky/naughty with your love before heading out for the night. I’m actually obsessed with it and this is just off first wear.
Bella’s new line is formulated as alcohol-free perfumes, so they’re composed of high quality oils and an emulsifying liquid to help blend the perfume before you apply it to your skin. Today, I mixed it in with my lotion (which I think works well especially since it’s oil-based and not alcohol-based), applied it all over my body, and WOW. My skin feel so soft and the scent bubble is actually holding up well! A little goes a long way, and the scent lasts a good amount of time on the skin. The scents aren’t meant to be monster performers, but ones that wear on the skin for long and more intimately.
I’m so happy she took this leap and came out with a celebrity fragrance that doesn’t fit into the typical sweet, sugary, fruity, gourmand route and went the complete opposite direction. This is a wonderful spicy floral that’s going to wear like a dream in the heat. I’ve found my summer patchouli and I will be upgrading to a FB soon! Go Bella and Free Palestine!
