Just the Right Amount of Chocolate
This is a gourmand for people who do and don't love gourmands. Its strong without being overpowering, sweet without being candy, and it has complexity. The scent does start strong creamy and nutty. That settles into a dark sweet chocolate where I can pick up a little bit of the plum and rose that adds depth to the chocolate. When it drys down its a beautiful warm, musky, sweet wood that is close to your skin. This scent projects just enough that you can smell it on yourself but you won't upset everyone at the office. The scent also lasted the full day on my skin, over 6 hours.

Creamy almond milk with a little plum
Mud is a superficially creamy fragrance for me. Creamy, clean and slightly sweet. Almond milk with some plum and barely perceptible chocolate.
Overall, it is relatively light and quickly becomes skin-deep.
At least that's my impression.

My girlfriend can actually recognize something chocolatey.
Personally, I have problems recognizing chocolate. But that's the way it is in our fragrance world. Fragrance impressions are always subjective.

For me, the fragrance starts with a creamy almond milk, which is sweetened with a little plum There is also a really soft and pleasant rose. Furthermore, the mud even comes across as slightly fresh here.
It then becomes much closer to the skin. The plum recedes and some sandalwood, vanilla and amber emerge.
But everything is kept very subtle and calm.

I can't say any more about the mud. A little difficult to define everything exactly here.

The performance is okay.
But I actually expected more.

Mud made of chocolate, leaves and dry rose petals
I was very curious what a fragrance called Mud would smell like. Especially with those pretty, not very muddy sounding notes. Now that I tested it, I think the name kind of fits, but kind of doesn't.

It doesn't smell dirty in any way, not even particularly earthy, but it does have a muddy texture, at least in the beginning. Imagine a clay mask that slowly dries. The scent starts out like a mix of autumn leaves, dark plum liqueur and powdery rose. The plum vanishes first and the whole scent turns very dry and powdery for a while. After a while the chocolate and almond move forward, so it turns a tad sweeter and creamier again. I get hints of a barely sweetened chocolate pudding made with almond milk.

Unfortunately, the cold, dry undertone never really leaves and it bothers me. I enjoy the chocolate note in here a lot, it's milky without being waxy or extremely sugary, but the rose and elemi make me think someone poured a bowl of potpourri into my pudding. I'm sure eating that would be much worse than just smelling it though. The scent is not bad and also quite unique, but ultimately it's not for me.

Easy nice gourmand
Very well done gourmand. Unisex, comfy, I get the comparison with Eau Duelle but here it’s simple, what is not a bad thing. The chocolate is sweet but not clingy, it’s not a teenager perfume - this is adult perfumery. It’s comfy, easy, but yet sexy in a subtle way. I like this a lot, for my collection would be a bit redundant but it’s a solid choice for any gourmand lover.
