Dark, Resinous, Spicy Goodness
Vinyle opens up with a nice blast of spiciness, smoke and resinous smell. The presence of pepper and Myrrh adds a lot of character to this perfume. While pepper adds to the spice levels, Myrrh adds a mysterious and resinous smell to the perfume.
Along with the spices, the perfume also smells like a powdery gourmand. This could be due to the presence of the Immortelle and Vanilla notes. While immortals adds a dry tobacco smell to the mix, the vanilla adds the sweetness.
If you like resinous fragrances, then this perfume will work wonders for you. I think it's quite unique in terms of mixture, and is also very well balanced. None of the notes become overpowering and you can keep enjoying the creamy, resinous, sweet texture of this fragrance.
Performance wise this works pretty good on me. I keep getting whiffs of it for 4 hours on my skin. After that it becomes a skin scent and stays for a couple more hours.
