Freshly cut trees

Well, I didn't have the fragrance on my radar until it was recently on sale at Marc Gebauer and for 180€ I thought I could take it home and test it. First of all: the bottle is a horror! When I opened it for the first time, at least my lid was pressed so tightly into the bottle that I could only open it with extreme force and spilled 1ml... When I then applied it to my skin (3 mini drops), I was very surprised. I can definitely understand the association with a cowshed, but I think the fragrance smells very pleasant.
Well, it starts out woody, peppery and very slightly rosy. As it progresses, it soon becomes very resinous and even more woody. It reminds me 100% of a walk in the forest between freshly cut trees and you can smell the fresh tree resin. As the fragrance progresses, it doesn't change much and stays the same. The sillage and longevity are insane. After the aforementioned 3 mini drops, my entire house and garden smelled of it and still does. The 1ml that I initially spilled on my mouse pad will probably be smelly for at least a few more weeks. The scent also reminded a friend very strongly of shellac resin. In conclusion, I can only say that it is a very special and unique fragrance.
