Interludes hot French cousin
I LOVE Interlude (original), even through it’s strangely nasty opening
But Mortel Noir might be even better
I’m so glad this bottle caught my eye because I’d never heard of it before the other day when I saw it in store
They’re fairly similar in terms of feel, but the accents are different
I found Mortel more sensual and sexy, while being more refined and easy to wear (it’s office safe!)
It’s also much lighter, ‘greener’ and more fresh - probably wearable during summer tbh
Interlude is a lot heavier and more aggressive w the spices
Both are outstanding statement date night perfumes but Mortel is much more versatile and crowd pleasing
Both are Smokey, incense and woody perfumes with a LOT of similar spices, masc florals and a strange amount of freshness
Mortel Noir is green where Interlude is oriental; French and Omani
Interlude has massive 14 hour projection while Mortel’s sillage is much smaller and lasts about 8-10
9/10, one of my favourite recent finds and I will 100% be buying a bottle
