Fresh strawberries with ice cream

After spraying on, a full load of fruity notes unfolds. The strawberry scent dominates everything else for me. Fresh strawberries with lemon ice cream.
In this initial phase, the fragrance is too sweet for me, but not so that I feel uncomfortable with it. From the beginning I perceive a slight sharpness. After a look into the pyramid I identify it as ginger.
After a while, the fragrance becomes less sweet, fresher, the slight ginger spiciness remains. I then smell this composition for several hours, during which the scent gets ever closer to the skin and more woody. The shelf life is remarkable for a fruity fragrance, more than 8 hours.

The special thing for me is that the scent of fresh strawberries is quite well hit. Of course, it doesn't smell 100% like real strawberries. Especially at the beginning there is also a slight artificial aroma note.
But the scent is also far from smelling like a bag of Haribo strawberries. A problem I usually have with peaches in fragrances when they evoke associations of aroma chemistry.

What the hell went wrong...?

Thanks to a lovely swap partner, I was able to snag Keep Glazed at the Souk. Thank you again for the fast and reliable transaction! What I was looking forward to: Finally comes the fragrance that I had long looked at and hotly desired! My joy was great when I took the bottle out of the outer packaging. Indeed, a beautiful strawberry red specimen, the sweetness and fruit practically called through the bottle already.... Bravely sprayed two, no three times and.... um, what is that? It was so very different than I had even kind of imagined. Not a fruit, more of a plasticky concoction, pungent, just awful. Sweetish already, but like a bug spray, not a hint of lovely, no strawberries with whipped cream, coconut garnish or otherwise tempting.... And I mean that! I can't place it at all, as sleek as the bottle is, the scent is so unrounded. For me, unacceptable and absolutely unwearable, unfortunately. A big disappointment...
I see that there are already fans. So this must have something to do with my skin chemistry....

Artificial sweetness

When I first sniffed it in the duty free, I was enchanted, but on closer inspection later, the magic has faded. When worn on the skin, the fragrance is unfortunately too artificial for me, the strawberry and mango too aggressive. I wanted to write that the composition is "over-sugared", but actually I have to think of a sweetener, not real sugar. The perfume reminds me of a huge artificial strawberry with a greasy layer of color that wasn't even applied well. You can not only see the plastic, you can smell it too.
The bottle is very nice, but in my opinion the perfume is not worth the money, unless you like artificial fragrances. However, the longevity is very good.

Creamy strawberry with mango

This is a creamy fragrance together with a lot of mango! Mango paradise . In the base you can feel sometimes wood with a lot of musk. Periodically crystallized vanillin.

For me a very balanced fragrance for any time of the year. A very complimentary. A must test is very important - you may feel completely different notes.

Not too sweet, but still fruity - a beautiful mango

If I'm honest, the first time on my skin smelled a lot like windfall fruit.... "nice" fermented fruit... over the course of the next week, however, I realized that once again my sense of smell had gone... either due to an unnoticed unpopular virus or simply a symptom relapse (which still happens thanks to C...).
I realized this because somehow almost every bottling I ordered didn't smell good and a bunker bottle of Fève Délicieuse I got here smelled tipped for me. I was surprised because the bottle was not old and I tested my fragrances, including my old Fève Délicieuse. And they all smelled tilted or some just completely different... even Baiser de la Fève (virtually from one day to the next). And this was simply not possible.
So I put Keep Glazed to one side and waited....

Approx. 2 weeks later, I tried again (having previously checked how FD smells, finally back to normal) and there was no more trace of the fermented fallen fruit - thank goodness :)

Now I think it's a nice, not too sweet mango scent. I don't have a comparable one in my collection so far.
I mostly smell the mango, a little hint of lemon, some coconut and very mild woody notes. I find the fragrance very pleasant and also somehow unique. For me, the mango remains, which I don't find too artificial, and I really like that.

Now that I don't have an olfactory disorder, I like this fragrance, even if it does take a bit of getting used to for me. I can't smell strawberry for me. S/H is good.
