La Dolce Vita with a difference
Mega pleasant summer scent that doesn't go in the ultra fresh citrus direction but has more the touch of a luxurious Italian body milk.

Very soft due to the almond in the fragrance, you would think the fragrance covers the entire body like a veil.

Caution!

Very oily, do not spray too close to white clothes.

The oiliness also gives the fragrance an incredible longevity, so that you apply the fragrance in the morning and it is still there in the evening, only better developed by wearing it throughout the day.

Not quite cheap but still an absolute recommendation from me if someone is looking for a good summer fragrance that does not go in the classic citrus direction.

Ancient carousel Or Enrico Caruso ?
At first i was really wondering what perfume do I remember smelling this gem? After reading some reviews I realized that its true, this is “le Male” from JPG but a little different, much better actually. Le male is more synthetic in my opinion.

It starts with nice fresh poudry but then later it changes to almond and flowers mix but much stronger longevity and silage than Le Male and Ofcours smels more natural than Le male.

I don’t understand the name? Why Anico caruso? I guess its translated as “
“ancient carousel” or its dedicated to the “Enrico Caruso” was an Italian operatic (opera singer).
Guess we will never know.

Anyway a good scent for a gentleman
I love it.

High quality but familiar fragrance
This might remind you of other fragrances. Clearly people are reminded of Le Male. This is not unique, but it definitely is high quality.

Profumum Roma is all about simple fragrances of high quality and this is a great example of this.

This is just so creamy, balanced and long lasting. That fresh and perky opening which transitions into the creamy almond and dries down to a wonderful almond and ambergris scent that just lasts and lasts. I easily get 12+ hours on skin.

When I wore this in the beginning of summer, I folded up my sunglasses and hung them on the collar of my t-shirt. Weeks later I put those same sunglasses on and was like "What is that amazing smell? Where is it coming from? Is it me?". It was Antico Caruso that was still clinging to my Ray-Bans.

Price is a bit spicy, but if you care about quality, you can't go wrong with this one.

Bad Overpriced Barbershop Almond...
I definitely get that barbershop vibe that other folks have mentioned from the almond and sandalwood notes that dominate this simplistic fragrance ... That said, the scent is super-linear and somewhat annoying after a short period of time. That, and of course the price is ridiculous for this kind of fragrance. Quite frankly, if you are looking for a barbershop scent of superior quality and complexity for 20% of the price, just look for Rive Gauche pour Homme from YSL. This one is not a bad scent, but nothing out of the ordinary and below average, earning a rating of 2 to 2.5 stars out of 5.

Almond blends perfectly with the woods, flowers and green notes that can be felt, a lot, in the perfume. Dry down becomes earthier.

This is not a gourmand. Save your money and get Le Male instead.
