Damn it!
Hello dear snoopers and welcome to a new fragrance comment from me. I recently tried the fragrance "Perdizione" by Nobile 1942, which I am reporting about today. The name of the fragrance makes it difficult for me to write a proper comment without blaspheming again about the horror of the guys, the women... :D
Perdizione in fact means "damnation" or "doom", and I just don't know why, but these terms always make me think of women, especially now in autumn, around Halloween time (even if by the time this commentary is published, Halloween could probably be long gone). And yes, I know I often bitch about women, so at some point this will actually be my undoing, argh! But why the scent is actually called Perdizione, I couldn't find out at first. According to the description it is supposed to evoke memories of more intense times, when people still chased their dreams and were more willing to take risks, but that doesn't mean that every risk has to lead to ruin, does it?
Anyway, I am curious about the scent, because it is from Nobile 1942 and they often have very nice scents in stock!
With time, especially the vanilla becomes quite strong and for me also the main fragrance here. It radiates as usual strong, but also soft and beautiful and conveys a nice warmth that seems to warm you up in winter. The oranges are also still there, even if they have become much weaker in the meantime.
The fragrance becomes sweeter and powdery at the base and I need not mention that at some point you can only smell the vanilla. Either way, Perdizione has become a very beautiful fragrance
Okay, if a fragrance in the later base only smells of vanilla, then you can assume that the scent will probably last until the next day. Yep, you can still smell the scent (or at least the vanilla) quite well in the sprayed area the next morning.
The bottle! The bottle is rectangular (or octagonal because it has bevelled sides) and has the brand logo on the side of the glass. On the front you can see a metallic-golden label. The lid is cylindrical, its pattern looks like brushed metal, and is of course gold-plated to match the rest of the bottle. A beautiful, solid looking flacon.
Only the name of the fragrance I find a little inappropriate, as the scent is quite nice and even reminds me of the wonderful Advent season. Doom or perdition? Nee ...
... hmm ... is it possible that I have been complaining a little too much about women and/or perfumes lately? :D I mean, women and ruin, can that even be? One can't imagine that such beautiful and tender creatures could be the downfall of all of us? Well, of course there were some "events" in history that had severe consequences, think of Helena, for example, who triggered the Trojan War. Think of the sirens that lured male sailors to their doom. Think of the Millennium Computer Bug about 20 years ago, which caused almost all computer systems to crash at the turn of the year 1999-2000, leaving many in fear and hysteria, and which was largely caused not by a computer specialist but by a female computer specialist! He he he, maybe women will be our downfall one day after all, who knows, I just know that I won't survive for long, if I keep ragging on about perfumes and then dare to show up at a future perfume meeting (sometime again, especially after the confounded Corona crisis!) :DD
But, after all, I wish you all a nice and great evening as always, also mention often that you ladies are pretty and sexy and basically I am quite nice, so you can't be very angry with me, can you? :)))

The smell:
I smell a powdery vanilla at the beginning, then rather lighter scents like oranges, then neroli, then again powdery vanilla, ... and well, it goes on for a while. So the scent is neither heavy nor light at the beginning and smells like a typical but nice allrounder. Then lavender is added and gives the fragrance a nice, green-tart and flowery note. With time, especially the vanilla becomes quite strong and for me also the main fragrance here. It radiates as usual strong, but also soft and beautiful and conveys a nice warmth that seems to warm you up in winter. The Sillage and the durability:

Conclusion:
Hm, I find this scent very successful. Although I could not decide, especially at the beginning, whether it is now an all-rounder, I now know that the fragrance is autumnal and wintery. The combination of oranges and vanilla even makes the fragrance seem a bit Christmassy. Anyway, many people like the scent of fragrant oranges at this time of year, especially when they work well together with sweet and spicy scents and don't come across as too citrusy-summery. And this is exactly what is happening here. The fragrance is wonderfully soft and beautiful and can therefore comfort you over the cold days, when you feel uncomfortable by the cold weather. It can be used in winter not only for yourself, but also wonderfully for going out, I think it should go down quite well.
