Childhood toys as a fragrance
Even though I'm 36 and wouldn't want to be a teenager or a child again, I enjoy cute, girly, nostalgic things tremendously, especially perfumes that evoke that feeling. Moon Flower does just that. So much that it can feel a bit too blatantly cutesy to actually wear, but I still like it!
It smells like fizzy raspberry and cherry candies, sweet almond, powdery violet and creamy caramel, all on a base of scented plastic toys from the 90s. I often get a bit of a doll-head notes from fragrances with almond or heliotrope, but this takes the My Little Pony scent to a new level.
The opaque pink bottle matches the scent perfectly.

It's funny that this is marketed as a 100% natural fragrance and smells so delightfully plasticy. What does "natural" even mean in this context?
Anyways, if you're looking for something very girly and playful with an additional childhood throwback, this is absolutely worth the 14,95 €.

Into the weekend feeling!
Well, who still remembers this advertising slogan of the 90s?
Probably so some ;)

Now but the question arises, what this has to do with this fragrance "Moon Flower" by Juniper Lane.
This question can be answered with a few lines.

What the name Moon Flower should have to do with the fragrance I do not know, at most that it sounds cheesy and probably after several brainstorming crafty marketing people as a result was spat out.

I say now simply times as it is.

This perfume smells to me almost 1:1 like a Zott cream yogurt cherry!

It`s creamy, fruity, creamy, fluffy, yogurty (does that word even exist) ;)

Of course, I do not wear the fragrance, but my wife.
However, I smell him crazy happy to my wife.

One could easily assign the fragrance to a young target group, were it not for that certain clever trick. It's hard to describe but "Moon Flower" has something about it that makes him totally wearable - even for ü 40s.

It may sound strange and some may ask the question
"Why would I want to smell like a yogurt?"
These are such questions that are hard to explain.

The EdT gives off this feel-good vibe that makes it almost impossible not to like him.

Sure, one or two might be bothered by the sweetness.

I think "Moon Flower" is pretty well balanced, there's not too much or too little of anything.
It's on the border of unwearable but still kind of right between the eyes and on the twelve.

In any case, we polarize the fragrance. Who likes fruity sweet / creamy fragrances with a certain lightness, will find here really. All others prefer to make a bow around it.

Floral is here times nothing, powdery just as little.

This yogurt-like freshness is really a curiosity in itself and I have never smelled and hey... i have the craziest "Library of Fragrance" fragrances at home.
Even "Sugar Cookie", "Birthday Cake" or "Graham Cracker" (just to name a few examples) can't compete with that.

The shelf life is quite ok. More than 3-4 hours, however, you can not expect. For this, the sillage is quite pronounced.

The bottle is truly no piece of jewelry, however, the color of the bottle fits the above yogurt like a fist on the eye.
It should be mentioned that Juniper Lane advertises that all ingredients in "Moon Flower" are of natural origin, as well as vegan.
Also, I would like to mention that the flowers advertised on the packaging are pure decoration.

In this perfume, flowers have recognizable no relevance.

Then I am once again through with my small Rezi to "Moon Flower"

Have another fragrant day :)

and the fairy from pink cotton candy land whispers to you, "Everything will be all right!"
Welcome to my 22nd perfume advent calendar door, today with Juniper Lane - Moon Flower.

First of all, I think the concepts of Clean Beauty and natural cosmetics great. The Juniper Lane brand advertises using ingredients that are 100% natural in origin. The products are NATURE.org certified, vegan and contain no mineral oil, preservatives or dyes. Further, I read on the packaging that the perfumes were created in Grasse, the French perfume capital, and manufactured in Germany. So far, so supportable.

And the packaging also makes a good impression. The artwork is delicate. The slightly raised flowers, fit in soft pink and green tones wonderfully to the golden font. The porcelain flacon is reminiscent of Gucci - Bloom. No one would suspect a cheap drugstore fragrance here. Only the spray head could be more easily guide, he hakt a little.

Sprayed on, the fragrance takes me to a fairyland, where the trees are made of pink cotton candy and rivers of fruity lemonade flow. It starts off subtly fruity with raspberry and cherry aromas over a soft bed of almond notes. It has a wispy to plush feel to its overall consistency, aromatically playfully sweet yet quite delicate, innocent I might say. A fragrance that doesn't scream loudly, "here I am!" but strikes the quiet, romantic notes. It reminds me of a fruity Kenzo - Amour. Also has certain similarities to the vanilla scented plastic figures from the 90s. Swans and ponies with pink glitter hair.

Moon Flower is a fragrance that fits wonderfully into the cold winter time, which I prefer to apply after the evening shower as a wellness, cuddle and fall asleep fragrance. A fragrance that whispers to you softly: Everything will be fine, I will protect you. You will never happen anything bad, because all the elves from the magic land watch over your sleep and send you rosy dreams.

If you're looking for a last minute gift for a young girl or someone young at heart, or a fragrance to give you back some lightheartedness in these stressful times, be sure to test it out.

I'm about to head out again, out into the cold world and I already know what magical creatures will accompany me.

Thanks for reading,

Your Flaconesse

Pros and cons
Actually, I had planned the title 'Pink Sugar Pastel'...So that there are no inconsistencies: this fragrance is not a twin of Pink Sugar, but it smells to me like something that is not the pink version of it, but a baby pastel pink version. But more about that later...

I became aware of the Juniper Lane line when I was waiting for someone and I was so bored that I felt I had to test every fragrance. That sounds mean, but those three fragrances just didn't seem interesting. After all, the whole presentation made me think of very floral perfumes and they are not necessarily my favorite. But then it quickly became clear that I was wrong in my assumption.

I didn't like the other two, but this one...What is that slightly sweet, but still reserved smell? I strained my nose. Almond! It had to be Almond. A look at the scents confirms it. There is a little cherry and powdered sugar to go with it. On my skin the fruity components also come out a little stronger than on the test tyre. As already mentioned, I somehow had to think of Pink Sugar and other gourmands. However, Moon Flower is not a decadent dessert, but something for the sweet appetite in between. This is how I came up with the pastel comparison: although the notes might suggest otherwise, the fragrance is quiet and shy. But it is all the more suitable for those with a sweet tooth who don't want to wear anything too strong in everyday life. Moon Flower could also be something for younger girls who are still going to school.

Because the perfume would be the ideal everyday scent for me, I find it a great pity that I also have to mention a few negative things. One point of criticism would be the durability. I perceive the fragrance on me for two hours, if at all. Maybe it's because it's reserved in itself and you could live with that, because the whole fragrance range is often on offer. But I have a big problem with something else: every time I put on Moon Flower, my throat gets itchy and I have to cough. Apparently I'm allergic to something in it. I don't mind a spray on the test strip and even though the unpleasant feeling disappears quickly after applying it, it means that I use the perfume less often than I originally thought.

But this is not included in my evaluation, because the fragrance itself is not different. However, I would really advise you to test it thoroughly before you buy it, before somebody else gets the same. But if you can tolerate Moon Flower, you will get a wonderful gourmand suitable for everyday use
