The scent of sensuality
Piano Santal by L'Orchestre Parfum is a beautiful fragrance that impresses with a balanced blend of sandalwood, milk and musk and a sensual creaminess.

In the heart note, the special depth of the fragrance unfolds with fine sandalwood, which exudes a calming aura, accompanied by elegant white musk, which adds a sensual dimension. This combination creates a warm and intimate atmosphere that seems to envelop the wearer in an enveloping embrace.

Overall, Piano Santal by L'Orchestre Parfum is a masterfully composed fragrance that seduces the senses and leaves an unforgettable aura. With its harmonious balance of woody and sensual notes, this fragrance is a symphony of sensuality that captivates everyone who wears it.

Simply wonderful !!!

No continuity
White sheets on bare skin and then being thrown into a church.
This is what the evocation wants, and I partially agree.
On my skin the opening is lactonic and sweet (yes, here it reminded me of blanche bete), before turning into pungent and harsh, with citrus fruits and spices, slightly softened by sandalwood and lactonic notes.
An iridescent fragrance, which I didn't particularly like because I don't see a thread of continuity in it. In short, not my type.

Mellow sandalwood
For those unfamiliar with the term 'scentrack', this means a certain song or piece of music is matched with the perfume's vibe. Occasionally a scentrack suggestion appears in the reviews here. L'Orchestre Parfum takes this concept to a whole new level. Each of their perfumes comes with a whole musical theme built around it. They even come with piece of music that is created specifically to match with the fragrance.

So I played the track that comes with Piano Santal and, obviously, it was a relaxing piano piece. I guess it kind of matches the mood in a way, but it feels gimmicky. Bit of an ASMR experience. Not much added value here. So I switched back to my Ritchie Hawtin liveset, which is closer to my idea of a laidback sunday afternoon.

Anyways, sandalwood it is. A very mellow one, I must say. There are no rough edges to be found. Thankfully this does not go down the cardamom-violet road following Santal 33 Eau de Parfum. Instead, the milky aspect is really pushed forward here. I am getting milk tea or even chocolate milk now and then. Other than that, there are little to no distractions. So it all seems to come together with that relaxing piano theme. Even the sillage is low-key, although it does linger on quite some time. In conclusion, a nice and mellow sandalwood with no frills.

Sandalwood magic
Piano Santal by L’Orchestre Parfum is one of the best sandalwoods on the market, bold statement maybe, but nonetheless I’ve tried my fair share and this one really stands out.

The sandalwood is the star of the show, no doubt. It’s a warm and milky experience which oozes class and sophistication.

It isn’t loud but ever so present in its own, calming way. It’s completely unisex. The concept of the brand is that each fragrance is associated with an instrument, in this case it’s obviously the piano.

It’s silent, calm and beautiful and not loud by any means, it’s meant for the person at ease that doesn’t scream for attention.

Amazing stuff.

Milky, creamy, musky, slightly feminine-leaning sandalwood scent. Very nice, but not something special.

Very smooth milky sandalwood with a hint of floral accords (maybe the musk) and warm feel, one of the best sandalwoods I've smelled
