Vanillic and resinous amber

A blast of baby powder, one minute later, full on skanky musk à la Lutens MKK. An undercurrent of powder is remaining, amber and benzoin assert themselves. It is slightly sweet but not overly so. Sillage is gentle but I am sure it would be greater if sprayed. It definitely has a vintage vibe. It reminds me of Bal à Versaille. Worth a sniff if you are a fan.

Incredible pairing

I do not get the idea behind this fragrance at all. I tested it together with friends, and it showed the same odor with different body chemistries: smoked bacon with powder. Barbeque sauce in the best moment.

As other LM Parfums, AMBRE MUSCADIN is persistent and has good range. I would not say that it befits to women or men - it suits to old chefs.
