A fragrance showcasing all the facets of a peach
I had the chance to try out this one when I went back to Etiket. I'm quite happy I got the chance to try out a new arrival, as I often feel like I'm a bit late into the niche game. I don't have a lot of experience with peaches in perfumes (I only have one in my collection as a travel size), but the notes called out to me and I was curious to see how they'd turn out on my skin.
This is a really beautiful peach fragrance, showcasing all the different facets of a peach. At the start, I get this Fuzzy Peach kind of scent. There's sugary sweetness, like biting into a fresh peach right off the tree. After awhile, the scent shifts its focus towards a fresh, aquatic-like fragrance with a predominant jasmine note. Ambrofix is probably the culprit for the aquatic freshness. I don't have a lot of experience with aquatic accords yet, but it was lovely. I had a feeling pink pepper also played a role in this refreshing twist. Jasmine overpowered the rose to my nose. There's a soft earthy vibe coming in from the patchouli, but it never veers into the woody territory.
Overall, when smelling this fragrance without trying to overanalyze its note, you get a sweet, fruity, fresh and aquatic peach, stunning in all of its facet. It's a soft, refined feminine interpretation (quite classy) that has great lasting power on my skin. I'm still debating on adding a bottle to my collection, but I have the impression it's more about my personal scent preference (what I want to smell on my skin during the day) than the perfume itself.
