With the name "Grenats", I was actually expecting a fruit explosion triggered by a good portion of pomegranates. What I got, or rather what came out of my bottle, was a soft cloud of musk with a few fruity-citrusy sprinkles. I miss the promised pomegranate.
Instead, the fruity-fresh nuances seem a little sour in places, but the creamy musk and a subtle, unobtrusive rose note definitely prevail for me. In general, "Grenats" is rather breathy and subtle with a relaxed character.
The EdP behaves linearly, so it does not undergo any further development and you may wait in vain for the pomegranate, as I can see from some statements. Anyone who is tongue-tied by the name "Grenats" because they are naturally expecting a fragrance with precisely this focus should not make a blind purchase. This is not to say that we are dealing with a less sophisticated or inferior fragrance here - just very musk-dominant, too shy, not an overwhelming perfume art and missing the point.
