That's how the opening smells to me, if you sniff very close to the skin you also get the mimosa, it makes everything very creamy from the start.
In my nose it is more goumand than floral, feminine, with mediocre performance.
Actually a nice fragrance, unfortunately already too goumandy for me and I don't really know what to do with a caramel mimosa cloud around me.
I wish the mimosa had stayed a flower instead of turning into a vanilla cookie and the performance could keep up more.
I wouldn't need a bottle;)

Vanillic Gourmand but...

This is a very pretty vanillic gourmand. On me, the vanilla is so rich, it's almost lactonic. The mimosa is a nice floral touch, and the brown sugar note is realistic. I love the ambery, musky base, but by the time these notes emerge, FAW is almost a skin scent. The performance is average-ish.

The problem is there is nothing much to say about this fragrance because it's so unoriginal. My first thought upon applying was, "This reminds me of..." about 15 other fragrances. If you like gourmands, it is highly likely you own or have owned something very similar to FAW.

For what it is and how it performs, it is too expensive. You can find similar perfumes, which are just as good, for a much lower price.

Floral vanilla croissant - in drydown similar to Kayali 28

The fragrance is a dream - no question about it. In the first hour it smells vanilla-floral, soft, rich, sweet and also slightly powdery. Very beautiful and round. From the second hour onwards, it smells too similar to Kayali 28 on my skin, which I already have - so for me it doesn't justify spending the money on this fragrance. Here the brown sugar comes out in combination with the mimosa - very similar to the brown sugar with vanilla orchid.
The next morning there was still a hint of baking vanilla on the skin - very authentic, just like baking cookies. No more floweriness.
If I didn't have any of the fragrances, I would choose Fire at Will. It is finer and a little more complex. Kayali 28 is a little more dominant - at least at the beginning. Both very nice, with a tick ahead in this one... but in the main course of the fragrances just too similar.
