Underrated but you need the older batches....
The Vespero immediately captivated me from the original manufacturer's sample...
As a hybrid, it fulfills a niche role, so the fruity notes still make it fresh enough for cool summer evenings, yet it has that "dirty" and bad boy charm thanks to leather, rose and patchouli, combined with the raspberry, which suggests similarities with Widian London or even Ombre Nomade. And yes, it's almost as "evil" as Ombre Nomade, but that's just for spring and summer and that's what gives Vespero this unique selling point FOR ME...but because of its power, it's not one for everyday wear but clearly designed for parties and wild nights.
In my opinion, it doesn't have much in common with Aventus, it's more like the "dirtier" Club de Nuit Intense Man EDT but with raspberry & apple instead of pineapple, leather instead of smoke and otherwise much higher quality.
While we're on the subject of high quality, the OLD batches definitely smell niche quality, unfortunately I recently received a sample that somehow smelled much more chemical than the original manufacturer's sample... which leaves me puzzled.
The Vespero is definitely an insider tip, it combines the DNA of several successful fragrances in one and the scent (if you get the right batch!) is a real board for your summer nights - and all that with an almost obscene radiance and durability.
