Capsized melon
Immediately after spraying it on, I encounter a very sweet melon in an inconspicuous sea, a fresh breeze carries the smell of the much too sweet fruit to me.
Suddenly, the rocking of the melon on the waves becomes irregular, an oud wave comes closer and washes the melon against a shipwreck on the beach, into which it disappears. The oud wave now plays around the old, gnarled beams of the shipwreck. It is warm and dry on the beach, the wood of the wreck is dusty and creaks in the wind, while the oud waves play around it below.
Slowly, the melon also emerges again, bobbing around the shipwreck on the oud wave, but the two do not fit together, yet it is washed against the wreck again and again, does not return to the sea, but does not remain on the beach either. And so they are trapped together on this deserted beach until the whole picture fades away.
I agree with the other reviewers, the far too sweet melon and the woody oud don't really go together and make the fragrance seem out of balance. It gives the impression that the idea of a gourmand fragrance is trying to cheat its way into a spicy, woody scent. It bothers me because I like woody-spicy fragrances and would have liked to go on a mythical journey, but the large melon that was packed into my rucksack really bothers me.
However, the story that the house tells about the scent doesn't quite work for me either. I don't find the parents' bakery in the fragrance, which throws the poor protagonist off his sleep rhythm so much that he begins to hallucinate while working in the Louvre. Of the hallucinations listed in the description, I find the ancient seafarers again, perhaps also the supernatural beings, but I can't find either the angels or the statues in the fragrance. So the story behind the fragrance, which is supposed to be its concept, doesn't work for me either.
The fragrance appeals to me overall, I find the woody note impressive in its dryness and I am a fan of oud fragrances, but unfortunately the melon bothers me too much to want to buy it.

Allotment garden longing
After spraying on the scent, I immediately sit in a small allotment in front of the hut and take a deep sip of my grapefruit lemonade. But work calls and I quickly put the citrus mixture away and make my way to the beds - the tomatoes are my pride...
