The Queen of White Florals
I was unable to fully embrace white florals until I sniffed Aude. I still have trouble with most generic white florals, but Aude is a treat to wear and experience. Magnolia is the star of the show here, beautifully supported by jasmine. It starts off with a fruity undertone, but fairly soon the white florals come alive, soft and delicate at times and traditionally and classically robust in other phases. This experience is given subtle depth by sandalwood and tobacco, leading to a creamy finish to round out the scent journey.
Aude is a traditionally femme scent, but I can see some men pulling it off. I have really enjoyed wearing it this spring and summer, and anticipate it to be an easy wear during the fall as well. The performance is on par with other HJ perfume oils (personal scent with limited, but magical, scent bubble; however, longevity on my skin is excellent). This white floral gem has been in my collection for nearly a year now, and I still haven’t found another white floral, which can match Aude’s beauty and elegance.
