Starbucks in a perfume
Another blind buy. With so many good reviews and the price, I just had to go for it.
Immediately unpacked and of course sprayed on once. Mmh, at first there's no coffee, but that's what everyone always said! More like Versace Eros, sweet, fresh, slightly fruity and lots of synthetics.
But then after 2 minutes the coffee starts. After 10 minutes, the coffee note is clearly recognizable.
The progression of the fragrance could then be described as follows: less and less Eros and more coffee, until at some point it's all over again.
And how is that to be assessed now? For someone who likes the smell of coffee, this is a great fragrance! As a coffee lover, I am of course one of them. But if you don't like it, the fragrance is not for you either.
And as already described, it's more of a synthetic blend, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. I also think Dior Sauvage and YSL Myself are great, although they both smell synthetic, especially the YSL...
And what do you expect at a price of just under 20 euros (I bought it for 17)...
Durability and sillage are okay, but nothing extraordinary.
This is a fragrance that many people probably still like and find unobtrusive, which is why it can also be used as an everyday fragrance, especially in fall and winter. You could also say that it's a cheap (but not bad) coffee version of Eros for the colder days.
Even though I'm using Eros as a comparison here, it has to be said that this is by no means a dupe with a portion of coffee added! It has a little bit of Eros, especially at the beginning, but only a little bit.
All in all, the purchase wasn't worth it for me because there are fragrances that you might prefer to wear after all..
