An inherited fragrance
I have always loved Fidji. My mom used to wear it, when she was younger, back in the seventies. When she sprayed this I wanted to sit next to her, make her read a book or play a game. She smelled just perfect. I remember getting a picture of white flowers in my head - perhaps I saw the jasmine. It smelled ‘white’ to me and still does.
Today my mom is almost 80 and she has stopped wearing perfume. She says she can not smell it that well and she does not want to wear too much. So now I have to wear it to get the same experience. Not that I mind. On the contrary. Because this is a really wonderful perfume. I know that when my mom is not here anymore I can spray Fidji and she will be there with me. Instantly. I feel lucky that it is possible and I will always have a Fidji on my perfume shelf.
