Hi! my name is..
Mango Muuuuh!

Opening short and sweet: cowshed oud with brief moments of tangy mango, albeit of synthetic origin. Then transitions into a fully synthetic mango, drugstore quality.

Now you might think: of course, my name is Mango Aoud, what did you expect?

All in all, not such a bad idea. However, the first 30 minutes are really cowshed. If you like that - why not. I'm open to anything in that respect.
Once you get past that, the oud becomes a little darker, woodier, flat. However, only a sweet, synthetic, fruity note remains in the background.

I don't get the floral notes at any time.

I find the implementation of the fragrance composition (in my head - or much more in my nose) just somehow unrounded, pungent. The fragrance seems so clumsy, when it could have been so beautiful: dark, gloomy oud, tangy mango, replaced by florals and vanilla.
And some of the fragrance components really smell so synthetic, really, this mango/fruit cluster kills me. And I am not averse to synthetic fragrances, as long as they are well made and suit the fragrance.

Towards the end, the fragrance becomes bearable, after about 4 hours, when the fragrance notes can only be guessed at.

I don't smell 250€/ bottle here, not by any stretch of the imagination. I really don't think the olfactory quality here is adequate.
And that's also the reason for my poor rating - it's not the fragrance character, Gritti can't help my subjective taste.

Too bad, could have been magical.

But as it is, it's just one thing (for me): Dishwashing candidate. Please don't buy me blind.

Mango Aoud
To be honest, I don't understand why the fragrance is rated so poorly here. When I smelled it for the first time, I felt like I was in a tropical country. Of course the aoud doesn't come through at all, but I don't think it would fit into this fragrance very well either. It's just a nice mango fragrance and something completely different. I wouldn't wear it every day, but it's great for every now and then. It's a shame that it's only available in 100ml, because you definitely don't need that much of such a fragrance. 10-30ml would be completely sufficient.

Summer Vibes
I actually wanted to leave it at one statement, but I noticed a lot of negative comments.....

In my opinion, it fulfills exactly what the name says. A mango oud fragrance. There are mango fragrances that are much more synthetic and have even less of a right to exist in terms of price.....It is very harmonious and has a lightness that is totally pleasant throughout the day. You get a mango, coconut and oud blend that is surprisingly balanced and in no way distracting.

Of course, fragrances are different on every skin, which is why there are so many opinions, thank goodness. :) If you are looking for a cool summer fragrance, you should definitely try it and test several.

I am a fan of this fragrance and look forward to reading your opinions. :)

Fruity mango with oud
The name sums up the fragrance quite well! I find the first reviews (negative) that I read through here not entirely comprehensible.
Here you get a very fruity, tangy mango right from the start. You can smell the oud in the background. Whereby the fruit is the focus here. As the fragrance progresses, it becomes a little creamier with a resinous note and light oud accords. In warmer temperatures, the mango note could also be a little sticky and synthetic. Therefore, do not wear in too hot temperatures (my opinion).

On the whole, this is a successful fragrance. It puts me in a good mood!
Have fun testing it ;)

Good idea - poor implementation
Gritti has probably jumped on the fruity-oud hype bandwagon and created Mango Aoud. At the moment, many fragrances are in vogue that combine dark notes such as leather/oud with a fruit - keyword London Oud Maracujá. With these fragrances, the dark scent tends to dominate, whereas with the mango aoud, the fruity scents tend to dominate - we also know this from Purple Accento or God of Fire, for example. As I really like this scent, I was really looking forward to this fragrance! The idea of combining oud with mango... why not? It worked quite well before with other fruits.
But compared to the fragrances of the competition, I find this one quite chaotic. It doesn't smell quite balanced. It's almost as if the fragrance hasn't been fully developed yet and we're smelling the first draft of the fragrance. At times, I smell a lot of the more synthetic fruit, then I only smell the floral notes, then only the oud - and it doesn't really harmonize. The oud is slightly animalic - I don't find it as bad as some claim. Longevity is solid, you should be able to get by with it for a regular working day.
Basically, I think the fragrance is overhyped here - in the end, you get what it says on the bottle - namely mango and oud. I definitely recommend testing the fragrance! As a little tip: If you are looking for a better interpretation of mango and oud, then I would recommend the God of Fire - although significantly more expensive in terms of the ml price, it is also much more balanced and pleasant to smell.
