Gibellini No. 1 in expensive
Unfortunately, every time I ordered my last three perfumes, I had the misfortune to get the same sample, Glamfume - True Story.
I first googled by the name and looked at the prices. My first thought was "hey finally a sample of a pretty expensive scent".
After a few days I finally had to test it and sprayed it on my wrist full of expectation.
My first impression was: I know that.
I know I'm probably not making myself popular here with the following statement, but One Million by Paco Rabanne has been my favorite fragrance for years.
On every occasion the good One Million was sprayed on, of course in the belief that everyone loved this fragrance as much as I did.
That was simply not an issue I dealt with at that time.
It wasn't until I started watching videos of fragrance youtubers from time to time that I realized
A) that not every perfume is suitable for every occasion.
B) that there are also interesting fragrances apart from One Million.
Well, back to the true story. It smells almost like One Million to me, but a little less pleasant.
Durability and Sillage are clearly worse.
At Lidl you can get a dupe of One Million for 4,99€. He calls himself "G Bellini No. 1" and is clearly superior to the True Story in every respect in my eyes.
It may be that some of the people here who know more about perfume than I do and have a more trained nose don't quite agree, but that's all I can smell out of here. People around me have also rated it a "cheap one million copy."
