Fruity, spicy, well blended fall idea
Sampling the latest release from Gallagher Fragrances, Septamber, a blend that I have a difficult time characterizing—somewhat sweet, fruity, and fresh, but also with dark and spicy edges. I generally do not like apricot much in fragrance, so with apricot as the first listed note, I was not sure how I’d feel about it, but it’s a really nice blend, sort of generically fruity to my nose, with the tea and amber mixed in, with sort of an underlying slightly spicy aspect throughout, almost like cinnamon in the background. I think this is well done, and makes for a nice transitional fragrance from warmer to cooler weather. Very wearable yet fun, playful, and innovative like the recent releases before it, a fitting companion to Rose All Dae in that it feels great for the fall but not at all out of place in any season.
Septamber is priced the same as most of the current line, at $125 for 50ml, with individual samples available, so quite reasonable in my opinion. It’s sold on the house site only for now, but I expect it’ll be available via other retailers at some point.
