So dear ones! Wow, what a start, I can be really nice :)
After the last days were a bit cool and rainy, the weather gradually gets warmer again. Soon it is even really hot again, so that one could imagine with half a head that one would rather be somewhere at the sea in such a weather.
Especially with a scent like Acquasala here you can imagine such wonderful places somewhere out by the sea better, if you should manage not to think about the World Cup (*sigh* because of the World Cup nobody will read my commissioners anymore... so I should take a break for a month, or what do you think? He he he :DD).
Yes,... this scent is wonderfully suitable for using on holiday. ... oh, man... now I want to go on vacation. Somewhere lay me on a beach, go for a swim, build sand bottles, watch bathing mermaids and throw out coconuts... *sigh*
Well then, I write first of all my fragrance impression here before I sigh even more :D
The fragrance:
Hm, the fragrance begins fresh with citric notes, especially with neroli. Then there is some spicy black pepper, which causes a little tingling in the nose, as well as algae, which smell as usual unusual, but also really give a sea atmosphere, whereby this impression is reinforced by the ascending, salty notes.
Muscat is one of those notes that one perceives, but may not always recognize as muscat. If it wasn't here in the fragrance pyramid, I wouldn't even have noticed that there's nutmeg in here.
Anyway, the maritime notes, i.e. the algae and the salt weaken a bit over time (just like the pepper), so that you can smell the neroli well again in the heart note. But then you can smell the resinous smoky scents like myrrh and frankincense, which are low dosed here, so that they also fit very well to a summery scent. A slight sweetness comes from somewhere, too, but I don't know where it comes from.
Hm... the fragrance becomes softer over time, simply more pleasant, this could be due to cashmere, which makes fragrances as beautiful and gentle as fragrances like iris or vanilla normally do.
Musk can be smelled well in the base, Amber only a little later. A generally beautiful fragrance whose maritime notes, such as algae and salt, are clearly stronger at the beginning, weaken a little later, but can then be smelled better again for a short time, whereby even later the fragrance also smells warmer and smoother. And I would say that you can smell some neroli again in the later base, because now the maritime notes weaken again a bit. Finally, the fragrance ends with amber, light resinous scents and weak neroli.
Hmm, Acquasala is a fragrance that is simply fragrant at any time :)
The Sillage and the shelf life:
The charisma is surprisingly good for a (warm) summer scent, but this is probably due to the maritime notes, which, although not so strong, nevertheless radiate nicely and therefore the scent is not necessarily only smellable at close range.
The durability is also convincing with more than eight hours.
The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular and quite simple, even though the glass of it is certainly very high quality. The special feature, however, is the lid, which was made of limestone and therefore each lid should theoretically be unique. Like I said, the bottle is nice, but simple.
Aaaah, as described at the beginning, this fragrance conveys the atmosphere of the sea in a wonderful way, with everything that belongs to it like a beautiful sandy beach, palms, tasty drinks, tasty girls, er... :D
Oh, yes, the sea. There is hardly a more beautiful sight.
But sometimes this sight is saddened by "things" like men over 50 or 60, who think they have to present their partly very hairy bodies with clearly visible "appendages" completely without their clothes. And then sometimes one of them even comes up with the idea of scratching his naked sack! ARGH!!!
Sure, of course some people could write that you don't have to look there, but you know exactly what it's like with such things. Once you see it, you can't look away for a few seconds. And in these few seconds you see more than you actually wanted! Bah!!! D
But anyway, sea is sea! :DD
Hey he he, but as I said, this fragrance has become a wonderful holiday fragrance or a fragrance to put you in a holiday mood. You have to like salty notes and maritime scents in general, but if this is the case, then Acquasala is definitely one of those scents that you could memorize in summer. By the way, I should also mention that the salty notes are well dosed and don't radiate as pungently as some scents do. However a small hint: The smell is nice, but not necessarily very fresh, it does not really refresh you on the really hot days, but is only well wearable!
Yeah, I'd definitely try that scent!
