The olfattive reminiscence of 70s nightclubs
Vinyl is a sweet boozy fragrance from Franck Boclet's Rock and Riot collection, it starts with a remind of coca cola bottle candies but in adult version with whisky. Soon after, the smokiness of the tobacco and the amber join in, alongside a very hefty dose of tonka.
In the background, you have a woody base, reminscent of older wooden bar counters that have seen their fair share of split drinks. A very detectable Patchouli note in the dry down, projecting us even further into the groovy vinyl era.
It is a fun, unique, bold, quite masculine scent. Even though the dry down makes this perfume wearable, and more pleasing, but the dry down is not as unique as the opening.
If the notes look appealing to you, I’d recommend sampling it. It’s a fun one.
