Discreetly elegant cottage garden charm

Delightful new fragrance from the house of Dior - everything revolves around the Provençal peasant rose, the centifolia. One of the oldest cultivated rose varieties. Suitable for young, middle-aged and old ladies:-)
Introduced by a velvety peony, which is immediately discreetly balanced by lily of the valley and iris -quasi eingesoftet-, we have an esprit-like start.
The goes after a good quarter of an hour in a creamy bright and very elegant moss rose fragrance, and becomes pleasantly close to the body - but remains quite audible.
Ladylike charisma, I would say. To feel good.
Never left alone, joins the sensual, yet unstolzen, pasty centifolia in flowing transition still a spicy Tonkaschmelz with restrained vanilla - and all increasingly creamy to musky soft.
Fits wonderfully to the pastel& cream colors, which are this season again dress trend.
Pleasantly naughty and yet present ;-) A quiet haute couture fragrance as a coherent envelope for the fading summer.

Three years ago, I was strolling through the city center with my best friend when we were suddenly handed two small samples at the Dior stand. At the time, I had no contact with the perfume bubble and had no idea about sillage, longevity or fragrance notes.
I sprayed it on curiously at home, not knowing what to expect. At first I was unsure whether I would like the fragrance. But I noticed how my nose kept wandering to my wrist, there was something about it that I liked. After much toing and froing, I finally asked for the 100ml bottle for my 15th birthday.
It was my small but fine introduction to perfume, for which I am forever grateful :)
Fine fragrance notes that remind me of a peaceful, beautiful time.

From spring to summer

I fell in love and bought it one evening on a beach vacation about 2 years ago. I loved it so much that I bought a large bottle straight away.
Warmed up by the sun, I tested Miss Dior in a typical perfumery on the Spanish islands. The fragrance blew me away. It matched my mood so well, emphasizing the warmth and lightness I'd recharged during the previous beach day and its heaviness was simply beautiful and classy for the cooler evening to come. Yes, I absolutely had to have it! It was all the more surprising that I didn't like it at all at home in consistently cooler surroundings. Too squeaky, too sweet, too dusty/scratchy, too loud around me. Kind of "teeny", which is not a bad thing per se. Unfortunately just unsuitable for me.
Now this almost full bottle sat in my collection for months. I tried it again and again, but it didn't want to be right with us again.
When the days finally got a lot warmer in Germany too, I went through my collection again and thought "Oh, yes... you could try it again". And, what can I say: THERE IT WAS AGAIN! This beloved, noble, warm, woody, ladylike and yet young fragrance.
Perhaps I simply associate it with vacation evenings, which leads me to claim that for me it is best suited to very warm spring days/summer evenings. Yes, that is what the fragrance is for me; although I am surprised by the sensation despite its heaviness.
I wouldn't want to be without it and it remains a faithful companion.

I don't know what it is

But I'm torn about this fragrance. When I first sprayed it, I thought it was absolutely not for me, as something about it smelled "musty" and harsh. Paired with a sweetness that I found exciting. But if I wait 1-2 hours, the mustiness from the beginning has faded and I'm left with a vanilla-sweet scent that I absolutely love! If the strange scent from the beginning wasn't there, this would be my favorite perfume by far
