Cheers to the classics!
Why have I never tried you before? Probably the tuberoses, which I sometimes just don't like. But I've known for a few years that I actually like white-flowered fragrances more often. I've owned Confetto by Profumum Roma, which is related to you, for what feels like an eternity. Likewise Kenzo Amour, also a sister of yours. And with my beloved Bravery by Boadicea, which I came across here a few years ago, I even have a real twin sister.
On vacation, I am a victim to new fragrances. Many old and new loves have found their way to me via Spanish perfumeries. Including you. Yesterday I thought I simply had to try you and - boom - you won my heart. And my husband's too.
You are more floral, a little brighter than Bravery. The tuberose comes through clearly alongside jasmine and lily of the valley until the heart note, but I can also detect the rose. My beloved Bravery also has this. The sandalwood note is completely identical in both fragrances, as is the soft, vanilla base. And the subtle mossiness in the base, which I love so much in Bravery, I think I can also detect in yours, even if it's not listed. Bravery is a little greener, but the differences in the base note are marginal. When I wear the fragrance for a while, I can no longer recognize any differences. And this is also confirmed by my partner, who knows and loves Bravery very well on me.
They also balance each other out in terms of longevity and sillage. Even though I often read about it here, I don't consider Hypnotic Poison to be a fragrance bomb. The fragrance is present, but in a subtle and gentle way. It lasts a very long time on the skin and can also be detected in clothing for a very long time, but without being overpowering or even annoying. This is subtle sensuality. Just right, the way it is. Hypnotic Poison is definitely not the caliber of Confetto, which I can only wear dabbed on or sprayed on the stomach area.
This may apply to the vintage version, but I don't know it and I don't want to get to know it. I am happy with the current eau de toilette. Nothing has to be different here, nothing at all. It's beautiful through and through. Bravery stays with me anyway. These subtly different facets are there, even if I'm probably the only one who can really make them out. But that's quite enough. I've never been one of those people who wear fragrance for others. Except maybe a little for my husband, which is also legitimate.
In conclusion, I can only say cheers to the classics. I find myself returning to classics from my youth more and more often. And that's a good thing.

Wonderful lightness
It does me so much good to lean on your strong shoulder. To breathe in your fresh, spicy, but also warm, even cuddly scent. You radiate strength and security for me, you always look well-groomed and have both feet firmly on the ground. Like a rock...

Montale the second
Hannes, sorry, Pierre Montale, he can do it. Yet another Montale fragrance has enchanted me. Again, it was a blind test, but since candidate 1 from dear Ergoproxy with Boisé Vanille was already a Montale, it was obvious that the second fragrance,...
