Comparison edt & edp
I would like to share my impressions of the comparison with you...
Spraying the edt on the left and the edp on the right (one strong spray each), I immediately notice that the edt is a lot stronger..
The edt starts with me only briefly with delicious citrus, clearly bitter orange and then quickly turns into patchouli-chocolate... melt-in-the-mouth, creamy and cuddly...
I can catch a hint of rose and jasmine before a really beautiful incense joins in... Later on, a wonderful vanilla note accompanies the fragrance without becoming really sweet... Gentle resinous wood gives the fragrance a wonderful hold... the fragrance is both strong and delicate, enveloping and cuddly...
The edp also starts with citrus, although I can smell the bitter orange less in the edp than in the edt... this is followed by an earthy, almost rough patchouli... a little chocolate melt is also noticeable here, but in my opinion much less than in the edt... I perceive the orris root much more clearly in the edp than in the edt... but the incense a little less... a wonderful vanilla note also follows in the edp, not sweet, but wonderfully cuddly and lulling...
Here, too, gently resinous woods provide the hold...
All in all, edt and edp are quite similar and if you've never experienced the edt, the edp is really wonderful... but if you know the edt, you probably wouldn't want to do without it... at least that's how I feel :-)
I find the edt much creamier, more chocolaty, and the patchouli is not as dark and earthy as in the edp..
In addition, the edt lasts a lot longer on me and also has a stronger sillage, which accompanies and envelops me throughout the day..
Maybe someone has similar impressions...? Or completely different ones...? Let me know, I'm looking forward to your opinions :-)
