"How are you doing with the Gold Collection? Michael's been whining all day. He is just mighty proud of his idea with the city map throws and wants to have the series now quickly at the start."
"I know we're 90 percent through. It would have been easier if he had aimed his stupid dart arrows everywhere. Sure, some things weren't an issue. At 'Piccadilly', for example, he met the exact location of a small flower shop with cute bouquets of roses. Perfect. Perfect. Hyde Park' was also O. K., the arrow led our 'Task Force Fragrance Collectors' into the 'Serpentine Bar & Kitchen', where the host just served a tray of soda. A dream was 'Chelsea': We landed on the 'Chelsea Antiques Market' - 120 shops and of course wood without end, free choice from dark to light."
"Sounds great!"
"Wait and see! In Greenwich, the boys burst into the middle of an oriental funeral procession. That didn't go down too well... Notting Hill would have been a disaster by a hair's breadth: A worn piece of asphalt directly at the subway station. Fortunately the 'Wheeling Mullahs', a middle-east breakdance troupe, were just starting out there; and one of them had a lush rose perfume on it. That was a close one. And so on, you can imagine... Nevertheless, we have mastered all this."
"So what's the problem now?"
"The ten percent is Mayfair! We're all desperate. The arrow marks a garage entrance on Hamilton Road. Actually the area is very tidy, but unfortunately the Hard Rock Cafe is right next door and this driveway belongs...let's say...during the day to the cats and in the evening to the...less prissy among the hard rockers. And when our troupe showed up, I guess just a little indie concert had come to an end. Lots of guys in funny leather jackets, who practically queued up to relieve themselves on the way to the subway 'Hyde Park Corner'. Some even watered the bushes and trees along the road. Bah! Maybe a Victor Wong can make a mammal blend out of it, but that will never be a Boadicea scent!"
"Well, just make the best of it! You have to make it smell like a cat from the spray head, it's no use. Put a dash of honeyed wax in it, it should help with the worst. Plus a touch of freshness, an essential oil number. Eucalyptus? This stands for the last cleaning by the property management. Leather jackets, hm... Take leather from the Castoreum Patchouli Oud corner and give it a musty, worn, rotten note, a bit similar to the one from Lui by Mazzolari. And when the guys are strumming all around in the bushes, you can show something green and herbaceous in good conscience."
"That's right. Some Micker plant, after such attacks..."
"It certainly helps if you soon bring in sweets without completely abandoning the precept. The Amber/Labdanum direction? This works for a while with a dusty twist before you have to go back to the mammal pipi. And if you're gonna be there anyway, pack a musty fur in the back. Wait a minute - that's what it is! Escape to the front! Make the stuff a little bit mean, so in a subtle, backfooted way; maybe you can get Michael to throw his silly arrow again."
"Not a chance. He's so horny about his idea, he gives it out just like that. Betting?"

PS: I only know 'Piccadilly' from this collection and now 'Mayfair'. The rest I've cobbled together from pyramids and commissioners. For this I ask for indulgence.
I thank Yatagan for the rehearsal.
