The Blue shower gel dna and its relationship with deodorants
Actually, I'm not the biggest fan of these so-called blue shower gel fragrances, as they are a bit boring and I tend to classify fragrances in the sophisticated area of my experience. And if something fresh and sparkling, then something citrusy with a nice fougere base.
But Blue goes down well with people and doesn't make things complicated or tiring for them! So I've tried a lot, from Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum to davidoff, Eros Eau de Toilette and something niche to Sheikh Shuyukh Final Edition etc.
But they all bring something musty with them at some point. Like a deodorant that is supposed to cover up an unwashed armpit or room.
The azzaro here starts off nice and clean and really blue with a light fruitiness that doesn't make the shaving water touch too prominent and as it progresses, the alcoholic note simply disappears and then the grapefruit and tonka bean leave the wearer feeling fresh and well-groomed and not overpowered without imposing a sticky or too spicy note.
You don't notice the nutmeg as such, but only that an "earthiness" nicely balances the mild sweetness.
So really. In this fragrance DNA is really pleasantly uncomplicated and flattering and never inappropriate! Even over-spraying won't annoy anyone here and if it does come across as a little too unexciting, perfect for layering with your eccentrics.
