Particularly successful - successful particularly
In spring, birch water is traditionally extracted from the trunks of the birch trees, which is said to have a positive effect on health. It is said to contain many vitamins and minerals and, when drunk as a cure, has a detoxifying, vitalising and invigorating effect. Also in the sauna, as Wenik Aufguss, the birch promotes the well-being.

We come first, however, to the fragrance.
He starts fresh-green and juicy, slightly tart and almost a little bitter with citrus accompaniment. After about twenty minutes, a creamy sillage emerges, which is actually somewhat reminiscent of green figs and can only be smelled at a distance, on the skin remains the green bitterness. In the heart note, rather than the florals listed, I would have guessed violet. This light floral note gives the fragrance something lovely, delicate without becoming dominant and also does not overpower the green, fresh main components, only the citrus note has completely withdrawn. Towards the base, the scent then doesn't change much for me, but after three hours it becomes increasingly skin-toned and the vetiver peeks through. The other base notes I can not pull out in detail but the fragrance now gets a touch of soapiness which is not at all unpleasant. The fragrance exudes freshness and lightness, like birch trees in springtime, their green leaves shining in the sun and moved by the wind. I find him very successful, somehow also very special but thereby completely uncomplicated and can not imagine that he is perceived by anyone as unpleasant.

What now has the fragrance, apart from the name, to do with the birch, or why did I have to think directly of the birch water? I feel him as refreshing, invigorating and vitalizing, he combines for me all the properties that are attributed to the birch water and who knows, maybe he also has a positive effect on your health.

Where's Alesia? I don't know any Alesia.
Why is this perfume called what it is called? I don't smell birch, which may also be because I wouldn't even know what that's supposed to smell like, except somehow unspecifically leafy and light-woody. Anyway, this scent doesn't seem Northern European in any way (if you'll pardon me, Dave), but rather subtropical, or more specifically, morning subtropical. I find it to be nicely fresh-spicy and floral, with a soft, almost lovely base. Very nice. The real surprise, though, is the green fig note, which - as is not uncommon - goes straight for a creamy green character. With this fig, the very last Northern European association is really perdu. Normally I do not like such a thing at all, but this sunscreen smells very restrained friendly, and calms the cool and bitter aspects.

The kicker is just that there is almost no sweetness here,. (There is a tiny bit, though, due to the characteristic sweetness of ylang-ylang). Imagine a cooling skin cream that absorbs really well. Craftsmanship classy. Or can anyone imagine a creamy smile? A little more flattering than endearing and very professionally friendly. One knows immediately, here one is served obligingly. Very pleasant something like that, on vacation.

PS: If anyone can enlighten me as to what Figolide™ is exactly, please let me know. My research has stopped at the fact that the compound is also known as 5-propyloxan-2-one, and it appears to be a member of a family of synthetic musk fragrances with fruity notes. Anyway, I blame the figolide for the unusual impression.

Sour fig in the opening. Creamy. Smells like 'Engelse drop'. Dries down to a sweet smelling suede with a bit of smoke.

An icy wind blows through the snow covered permafrost woods in Siberia. The red light of dawn shines on blue violett flowers. Simply magical
