No love from first sight
When I tested the Beach Hat for the first time, I had the feeling I have swallowed with sea water, so doll I felt the salt smell. Whensinn, I thought, what is it, it stinks of water, salt and soaked wood, so I do not want to smell! But after a few minutes has changed! What a metamorphosis. It smells yes of the sea, but now pleasant, wood and beautiful flowers.... I love this scent, it makes me feel like I'm on a beach where there is no more, just me and sea.... Free... Happy

Too long for a statement....
I really wonder how a perfectly harmonious fragrance like "Dia" can have the same origin as this fragrance candidate. At the beginning I can imagine a beach atmosphere with sun cream and salty sea under this scent - if also with help. Bergamot certainly does not play a subordinate role in the top note. However, the fragrance retains its astringency from the beginning and only intensifies it over time. Like an impenetrable wall made of the hardest scented metal, something is created on my wrist which causes me to dislike it deeply and leads to washing up attempts...
Imaginable that it certainly smells pleasantly sunny and perhaps sweeter with some of the girder gutters, but it is definitely not my case

Definitely not a safe blind buy
This one is unique.
To me, it smells like an old tree trunk that has been soaked in seawater and then dried in the sun. It's woody, salty, with hints of iodine and mineral notes. Odd, unisex, best in the summer.

I almost hated it and was so close to selling it, but then it caught my attention again and sparked my imagination.

I love it, I hate it, I don't understand it, but I wear it regularly and enjoy it every time.

Salty patchouli
I first tested it on the Baltic Sea. Maybe that's why I didn't notice the salt straight away. But I really like the patchouli note and I often reach for it at times because I find it very calming. Sometimes I inhale too deeply when spraying it on and then it's the aforementioned feeling of "swallowing salt water", which quickly subsides. But I'm quite insensitive to salt and it also works a little differently to the beautiful Acqua di Sale, for example, which is much fresher. It is clearly more patchouli and probably reminds me of vintage fragrances. I like it very much.

Bitter
This perfume is a strange one indeed. It must not be working with my body chemistry because all I smell is a sharp, salty, bitterness that never improved throughout the day.

It’s not a good bitter, like citrus. It’s bitter like salt water. There’s great sillage and longevity, unfortunately for me. I had hoped it would change throughout my day as I did chores and even sweated some, but nope.
This Amouage perfume was a fail for me.

Transparent, watercolor wash of patchouli overlaid with a salty mineralic accord. Smells wet, like you're hanging out "under the boardwalk".

This is not fancy or glamourous. This is a mineral scent that smells like warm driftwood, salt, sand and wind. Truly mesmerizing and unisex
