The scent of southern cities, not Frankfurt's
In 1973 Frank Albrecht and his wife took over a highly traditional drugstore in Frankfurt, even Goethe is said to have shopped there, and reshaped this, also after incorporating an already existing perfume shop, the "Parfumerie der alten Dame", into a perfumery. In the course of the centuries, as well as after the remodelling of the shop by Mr. and Mrs. Albrecht, the shop naturally moved several times. So I don't know what relevance the story has. I would rather doubt it. Fact is however, that in this Parfumerie own smells are created, as I was allowed to experience by Mörderbiene's mad traveling letter. However, under the name "Ville de Francfort", not " Albrecht", as it is listed here.
And this one at least smells quite niche, at least to my sensibilities. Something different was tried here in an interesting way, but still smells good and qualitative. And the prices are at ~ 30€ for 50 ml really Okay!
I can not with the best will in the world to recognize the fragrance notes, at least most of them. Therefore, I will keep my comment a little freer from the pyramid.
Fruity earth becomes bright innocent clay, which is washed away by melted lemon ice. This is where it gets bitterer, A classic scent with a thoroughly odd modern sunscreen note which gets lighter and lighter and almost reminds me more of current light woody, if not metallic scents. Contributing factors are certainly the vetiver as well as the citrus notes, but also synthetics that seem more milky rather than chemical. This is the fragrance impression in which the perfume lingers, in addition, something glittery, tickling.
The whole smells to me like a southern big city in the summer. Maybe Malaga, maybe Turin. But not Frankfurt.
I would still like to make a recommendation!
