As a gift for my father-in-law, who was looking for a new fragrance, I read various recommendations and organized a few possible fragrances as bottlings Among other things, I could imagine a subtle leather fragrance for him. "Leather 6 / Fetish | J.F. Schwarzlose Berlin" etc. would probably be too special, so my attention quickly fell on "Une Nuit à Oman - Sugar Leather | Une Nuit Nomade" As the fragrance is unisex and contains a slight sweetness, I tried it myself first - and what can I say, I was shockingly in love.

The start is a subtle leather note, not a dirty cool-boy-in-motorcycle-clothes leather, but more like a thin, fine suede coat. Very pleasant and immediately creates a feeling of well-being. Initially, I also notice a very brief alcoholic note, but it disappears so quickly that I'm not sure if I imagined it. You read about comparisons with Angels' Share, but apart from a cinnamon note, which is also present, I don't find the two similar at all. AS is much more boozy and less cuddly.

The fine suede coat is joined by a cinnamon cookie and a subtle, warm sweetness. This sweetness remains, even if the leather is no longer perceptible to me after about 3 hours.
A perfect fragrance for fall/winter, I think.
So "unfortunately" it won't be a gift as intended, but a gift to myself. Sorry Not sorry

It's not particularly original, as it has the same DNA as Angel's Share, but if you love that one, you'll certainly like this one. It starts out as a super delicious gourmand with caramel and cinnamon, as well as cotton candy. The leather and spices come out after a while without coming to the fore. Great niche does not always have to cost the earth

The Sugar Leather is a really nice fragrance. Especially for the colder days of the year.
Admittedly, I have already smelled one or two other fragrances that have certain similarities, but nevertheless it also has its own twist again. I love but generally this DNA, just as with his similar colleagues.

One gets here a warm, slightly oriental, spicy-sweet fragrance.
A delicious caramel note with slightly smoky-sweet-resinous labdanum, cinnamon and a touch of soft leather throughout the fragrance.
This just goes well together, harmonizes and pleases me very much.

Admittedly, you have to stand on sweetish fragrances, but even if not, I advise him times to test.
The labdanum gives the beautiful fragrance a certain twist.

The performance is really good and you get with the Sugar Leather simply a fragrance from the niche that does not cost the world and delivers a good quality.

I became aware of "Une Nuit à Oman - Sugar Leather | Une Nuit Nomade" through the lovely Leni, who loves to talk about perfume and had ranked the fragrance in her Top New Releases 2023. When I then saw that Angels' Share was named as a reference, I was completely sold.

And, yes, both fragrances are very similar at the beginning, although "Une Nuit à Oman - Sugar Leather | Une Nuit Nomade" opens a little more spicy. The cinnamon really pops (we love it!), I don't really notice any caramel. In general, Angels' Share is sweeter, smoother and therefore more feminine.

After 10 minutes, there is a change: the sweetness fades into the background and smoky, resinous woods emerge that are only vaguely reminiscent of leather. The sillage clouds your mind for a good hour - so be careful with the dosage. Towards the end, the sweetness radiates again until the fragrance is only perceptible close to the skin after a good 6 hours.

Conclusion: If you are looking for a darker and more masculine interpretation of Angels' Share, you can try "Une Nuit à Oman - Sugar Leather | Une Nuit Nomade" without hesitation. A horny gourmand with addictive potential.

Fans of sweet fragrances should keep an eye on this one, especially when the days get shorter again. If you can find it for a good price, you can buy it without hesitation. A very pleasing fragrance that is hard not to like.
Une Nuit Nomade is a cool brand. The packaging is very creative and pretty and the fragrances are also of high quality, long-lasting and catchy. This brand is also really great value for money. Many fragrances are available at almost designer prices, which is absolutely fair for this quality. i can also recommend Jardins de Misfah and Ambre Khandjar, some of which I have yet to test.

Sugar Leather is a very popular fragrance. It had been on my list for a while, but was often sold out for a long time. When I received an email that it was available again, I ordered it a few months ago.
If you've been around the fragrance scene for a while, you won't be completely blown away by this scent. This rough fragrance direction is nothing really new, especially if you know fragrances like Oajan, Ambre Narguile, Dolcelisir, Khaltat Night and many more of this kind. Nevertheless, this fragrance is worth it if you like these cozy cinnamon scents. I can't figure out Angels Share, which is listed here as similar. But if you like these cuddly-sweet scents, you can still have a lot of fun with this fragrance. In detail, this fragrance is really very pleasant, well-made and simply well-balanced.

This fragrance is available in 25ml and 100ml. 25ml is quite cool and great to explore this fragrance. Unfortunately, these are almost always sold out, as you can get them quite cheaply. however, 100ml is also absolutely worth it for this fragrance. The simple but high-quality bottle comes in a cool, very colorful box that is quite difficult to open. But cool packaging.
You shouldn't be put off by the name Sugar Leather if you don't like leather. Of course, you should like very sweet fragrances, including cinnamon. The leather is extremely cozy and not like the usual leather fragrances. The leather forms a perfect base for this lovely sweet cinnamon note.
Only a few notes are listed, and only notes and not a pyramid. This is confirmed by the fragrance progression. This changes only slightly and the specified notes are also easily perceptible. Caramel and cinnamon play the leading role, while leather provides the perfect background. Balsamic-oriental labdanum gives the whole a great depth. I don't quite notice amyris, but it may be responsible for this pleasant, slightly woody note. All in all, a great creation that you can't go wrong with on cooler days. If you're looking for a long finish, you'll search in vain. Extremely similar from head to drydown.

Performance is absolutely decent. Sillage is good, as you would expect from this type of fragrance. Longevity should also be in double digits. Sillage is not too heavy, so you can wear this Sugar Leather in everyday life, if everyday life allows it. In principle, this one won't hurt anyone, as this fragrance doesn't hit too hard.

In conclusion, I can say: absolutely recommended for men and women. Fair price and pleasant fragrance. Treat yourself when the days get shorter and colder again. Or even now.
