You can also have several loves
There are fragrances that you like, wear and forget about when the bottle or the bottle or whatever is empty.
Then there are fragrances that you don't like at all, are quickly checked off, on to the next one.
And then there are fragrances that you like immediately, like Deux Amours. (Two loves).
Some time ago I got a bottle (thanks to MOJO) and didn't expect much when I sprayed it on.
And what was it?
I immediately felt comfortable with the fragrance, it captured me straight away. This aura of slightly tart, yet floral charm, I was enchanted, I was at home As if it had been waiting for me and wanted to embalm me with its flowers.
A mild "woodiness" emanates from the whole, which is probably rather subtle.
Somehow in passing, the roses, tuberoses and ylang ylang come into play, but nothing disturbs me here, everything is harmoniously in place, holds everything together in a fragrant way and gives support and substance.
Somehow I also get something fine and leathery even though it is not listed. But it could be that I'm associating something wrong, I really like this touch.
And, what's even crazier, I have the feeling that we belong together. As if I've known the fragrance for a long time (although it's totally new to me) and as if we've been together for many years!
This happens very rarely, actually never, so I am absolutely and flawlessly satisfied and am delighted that a slightly larger bottle has now moved in with me.
